2. Location and Camera Data (Core Gameplay)

 

To enable the core functionality of our TeamUnlock+ city adventure, we must collect data about your real-world location. This is the primary way we connect the virtual game to reality to provide an immersive user experience.

 

This data is collected in two ways:

  • A. Geographic Location (GPS): The Service requires continuous access to your device's precise geographic location (GPS) during gameplay. This location tracking is essential to monitor your progress on the interactive map, verify you have reached specific destinations, and trigger the virtual content, puzzles, and storyline elements associated with that location.

     

  • B. Static Image Recognition (Camera Access): In some game challenges, the Service may require access to your device's camera. This function is used for static image recognition, allowing you to scan a specific landmark or object. This scan is used only to verify that you are at the correct location and to unlock the next game event.

 

We use this location and camera data solely for the purpose of operating the game session and providing the Service. This data is fundamental to the user experience and is not used for any other purpose, such as unrelated marketing or third-party profiling.

 

3. Information Collected Automatically

 

  • Usage Data: We use Google Analytics to automatically collect information about your interaction with our Service. This may include your device's IP address, browser type, browser version, the pages of our Service that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages, and other diagnostic data. This data is aggregated and helps us understand user traffic and improve the game experience. The QR code location data may also be collected as part of the URL to analyze traffic from different points.

  • To Provide and Manage the Service: To verify your email address, allow you to start the game, and send you your personalized game report. This critically includes using your GPS location and/or camera access to track your progress, validate your location, and trigger in-game events, as described in Section 2.
